Family Assistance Payment Rates
Estimate your entitlement
The easiest way to work out your possible family assistance entitlement(s) is to use the Online Estimators. To access this service, you will be transferred to a secure site hosted by Centrelink. When you finish, you will be returned to the homepage of the Family Assistance Office website.
Find a payment rate
Centrelink and Medicare are responsible for managing all Family Assistance Office payments. The latest family assistance payment rates and information is listed under ‘Parent or guardian (families)’ in the payments index of the Centrelink website.
There are a number of ways to find a payment rate:
- view the payments index and choose a payment
- refer to the current Guide to Australian Government payments booklet
- if you know the name of a payment use the Centrelink website search
- use the site A to Z which lists pages on the website.
