How much can I get?
The amount of Family Tax Benefit Part A you may be able to get depends on:
- your family's annual income;
- how many children you have;
- how old your children are.
- If your family income is $42,559 or less (maximum rate)
- If your family income is $42,560 or more (sliding scale plus base rate)
- If your family income is $94,316 or more (less than base rate)
Please Note: If your child earns over $12,287 during the financial year, you are not eligible to receive Family Tax Benefit for that child for any part of that year.
