How can I find out the balance of my overpayment?

You can:

call the Family Assistance Office on 13 6150*, or
visit the Family Assistance Office located in Medicare Australia offices, Centrelink Customer Service Centres and Australian Taxation Office shopfronts. To find your nearest office, use the office locator on our visit us page; or
use online services.

*Calls to 13 numbers cost 25 cents from anywhere within Australia. Calls to 1800 numbers are free of charge. Calls from public pay phones or mobile phones will be charged at a higher rate.
