Family Assistance Program
The Family Assistance Program is part of the Families, Housing, Community Services and Indigenous Affairs Portfolio and the Education, Employment and Workplace Relations Portfolio, and is a result of the Australian Department of Families, Housing, Community Services and Indigenous Affairs' and the Department of Education, Employment and Workplace Relations' commitment to support stronger families.The Department of Education, Employment and Workplace Relations (DEEWR) and Families, Housing, Community Services and Indigenous Affairs (FaHCSIA) develops policies that give more children access to early childhood development support, education and family care.
