Registered Care - Payment
If you use registered care, you can claim your Child Care Benefit by:
- lodging a claim with the Family Assistance Office for Child Care Benefit for registered care with your child care receipts. You must claim within the 12 months after the care was provided. We will pay your Child Care Benefit into your bank or credit union account. Contact us for more information.
It is important to note you cannot get the Child Care Tax Rebate for registered care.
If you use a combination of approved care and registered care you need to claim Child Care Benefit separately for each type of care.
